The Problem With Today

Hello Jammers and welcome to another post on the AJSB!
---

Let's start off this post with a fact: my school sucks. More specifically, my 4th period Language Arts class sucks. It's boring, my teacher is rude, and the classmates I have in there just aren't that great.

Well you see, my school has this huge Hunger Games event every year. It's kind of a big deal to the teachers and staff. They get super involved with it, and they dress up as characters from the movie. It's weird.

So basically it goes like this: every year the Language Arts classes get divided up into 12 districts. Each district is a group of around 8-10 students. The students decide things about their district, such as what their main export is (what they trade), what their animal mascot is, and which other groups they want to destroy in the Hunger Games.
Then we all put our names into this giant box. The teachers go outside and we all gather around as they choose 2 names from the box (for each district). Whoever is chosen has to go represent their group in the Hunger Games. They create a weapon, a shield, and a helmet using classroom materials and supplies. Sometimes they even use stuff from their house.
Then about a week after that takes place, we all go outside to watch the Hunger Games, which is just a giant game of dodgeball.
After the games there is a "feast". Everyone brings food in and puts it on the back counter. Then we all share it like a potluck.
Whatever district gets killed first in the Hunger Games eats last, and the winners eat first.
*I think I'm bringing donuts for the feast :D*

Anyway, nobody in our group was able to find cardboard. So my friend (let's just call her 'Emma' because I don't want to share her name) was called to be in the games. But since we weren't able to bring supplies, my group blamed it all on me (I have no clue why) and so now I'm the tribute who has to participate in the games.

That probably made no sense..

'Emma' couldn't bring cardboard but she blamed it on me, so now I'm in the game instead of her. Which sucks!

Soooo yep. That sums up my day... >_<
