Today is Monday, which means that it's time for...

RARE ITEM MONDAY!!

I know I'm a bit late to post this (and by 'bit' I mean VERY late), but I'll still make the effort to write about it anyway; and I'll do it the best I can.

The RIM as you might already know is the Rare Cowboy Boots.

The colors are cool, except I don't really think that the red matches it that well. That's just my personal opinion, though.

It's member as usual *heavy sigh*.

AJHQ should really make non-member rares more often. Perhaps "Rare Item Tuesday" for non-member rares?

Nah, that would actually be a terrible idea. Members can still purchase non-member items as well.. they would have twice as many rares for that week!!

Another new item that was released today is the August birthstone, aka the Peridot.

I love this one the most. August is my birthday month, so the Peridot is my birthstone. <3

A fact about the Peridot is that it was once known as Topaz.

Also it has been the August stone since 1912.

Heck, what's with all the facts? Why not just make a list of them?

1 ) Peridot are mainly from igneous rocks.

2 ) Lots are mined from Arizona

3 ) Romans called it the "Evening Emerald"

4 ) Legend says the Peridot wards off evil spirits

5 ) Lots of birthstones come in multiple colors, but the Peridot is always pale green.

Okay, okay, I'll try not to make this too educational (;
