Losing My Grandpa

Hey guys.
---

I typically try my best to keep a positive vibe going on the blog, but since you are all so close to me, I felt as though you deserve to know this.

My grandfather passed away on October 6th (last Thurs).

I didn't know when I wrote my post for that day, so I didn't reschedule it or anything. It's fine though since I'm writing about it now instead.

He meant a lot to me and my family and he definitely lived a great life. He was a marine in World War II so they'll be burying his ashes at a special memorial.

I mean, that's really all there is to it. He was old and sick and died in his sleep. At least we can know that heaven gained another angel on that day. <3

R.I.P Grandpa. We love you. :)

  1. Oh, Fang... *jumps through screen and huggles*

I don't wanna be like all those other people who say sorry and stuff but... I'm really sorry. I definitely know how it feels like to lose a grandparent. I should know. I lost my grandpa 4 years ago and then a year or two later, my other grandpa died.

All I wanna say is, I'm really TRULY sorry. For I might know how you feel and I know it hurts.

    *huggles Fang again*

  3. Fang.. that's horrible..

I've lived with grandparents for almost 1/3 of my life. I'm not that old. Recently, my Grandfather was traveling to a temple. During the trip, his Gulblader broke.. And he has to travel back for a risky surgery. I am so scared. I keep praying everyday.. Both my parents are doctors so I here their mumbling about how serious it is..

I'm trying to be happy because my best friend from Kentucky is visiting but.. it's hard. Faith can't shove these two events together..

  4. Aww, that's sad :'(

He died in his sleep.. that part made me REALLY sad.

At least we can know he wasn't killed in World War II (yes, I know roman numerals, that means 2).

  7. Sorry for your lost, Fang. I bet he lived a fulfilled life, and you can always cherish all the memories you had together. May he rest in peace. It's okay to let out your emotions. It's not worth it trying to pretend to be happy in every post. Take care. <3

  9. :'(

I'm so sorry for you. I know how much it hurts to lose someone close to you. I lost my great grandma last year, she was 102 which was pretty impressive, and I cried for days.

He was a marine in WW2? That's amazing. Hopefully he will be honoured for his duty

    Internet hugs <3

    1. 102 is very old; she was really lucky.
Yes he was a World War II marine. He's been in many parades and gone to many events so he was definitely honored. He's going to be buried at a special memorial area too.
      *hugs*
      Thanks Kraft <3
