Hello.. it's me.

Unintentional Adele reference going on up there ^ haha!
I know that this post isn't Animal Jam related at all, but this is a topic that I felt needed to be addressed.
Tips for exams!
Studying can be sorta rough during these ending weeks, and with a new semester (or quarter) starting up, what better way to relieve additional stress than to study THE RIGHT WAY?
Not only will it provide you with the confidence needed to succeed, but it will also give you a few pointers on how to impress your friends when they panic over their grades.
So pick up your pencil & notepad, pour yourself some hot chocolate, and stick around for the show (erm..post)!
You may learn something interesting.

I took myself on an internet safari to gather a collection of the best final suggestions.
( 1 ) Studying with distractions? You're doing it wrong.
Keep your study area/room music and television free! You will get twice as much accomplished in the same amount of time.
( 2 ) Think positive. Don't sweat the small stuff.
If you have a presentation that you're worrying over, just remember that most people are too concerned with their own presentations to pay too much mind to yours!
( 3 ) Taking a foreign language?
Try listening to a podcast in that language on your phone during some free time. See how much of it you can understand! Just hearing words in that language, regardless of whether or not you know their meaning, can help you get more comfortable hearing people speak that way.
( 4 ) Post it up!
Of course, this is always something you can do all year. But who am I kidding? Most of us aren't organized at the end of the semester/quarter.
Use sticky notes and tabs to organize. Keep blank ones in the front inside cover of your notebook (as shown in picture) to avoid losing them! You'll find that if you lose them, it'll always be during the times you need to use them most.
( 5 ) Stay on track.
Keep your binder sorted neatly and cleanly. Don't make it too complex either, simplicity is the key to less school stress!
If you need to use your phone, try not to do it for too long or you'll get distracted. If you have to send an important text, tell yourself that you'll get off your phone as soon as you send it, and follow through with it! Get off when the task is done.
If a friend is bored and wants to chat pointlessly, tell them that you're prioritizing and studying for finals. Hopefully they will realize that they need to study as well.
( 6 ) Hacks.. if you must.
Cheating is by far the worst possible way to pass an exam.
You will honestly feel a whole lot better if you know that you passed the test on your own!
But if you must, here are cheating techniques. I mean.. I don't recommend it.. but if you're gonna cheat, at least do it right.
People who cheat in obvious ways (looking at the person's paper next to you, whispering, etc.) are more likely to be caught.. and look dumb.
I mean, if you're cheating for a test, you probably don't know the answers or didn't study enough. But when you cheat stupidly, you make the situation worse. Like seriously. Just. Don't.
That's all for now- Byeeeee!

ReplyDeleteNeed them don't we?
Yep, another irrelevant comment :fACE Palms self:
Anyways, good luck on the finals!
The juice box hack is genius. Really, I think the fingernail and 1st water bottle hacks aren't the best.
