10 Things to Toss in Animal Jam

Hey guys!
---

Do you ever find yourself constantly searching through your items for things to delete? We all need that storage space for bigger and better gifts/items. Here's 10 things to throw away so you can achieve a cleaner inventory and have more room to store your stuff.

1. "Cheap Trade" Items

These are the items you use when you're nonmember and receiving a gift.
For example, since gifts can't be sent to nonmember players, you will often be asked to "put a necklace on trade" so that a gift can be traded to you. You know what I'm talking about. Those things. While it's perfectly fine to use necklaces, police hats, or capes to trade with, you need to be aware of how much storage space they waste and delete them after they've served their purpose.

2. Inactive Buddies

p.c - Animal Jam Wiki

I'm not saying you should delete your best buddy if they haven't played for a week, but definitely keep in mind how much space you're using for players who have quit or haven't been active in years! They take up more room than you think.
Disclaimer// this isn't as much of a problem as it was now that Animal Jam has increased the buddy slot capacity.

3. Animals You Never Use

Sure, I've managed to narrow mine down to 3, but the amount of animals you keep is completely up to you! Underwater animals are a common example of wasted storage space.
Here's a simple rule:
If you don't use it, don't keep it!

4. Underwater Dens and Items

It isn't just underwater animals that are often unused! Many Jammers hold on to underwater dens and items thinking that they may use it one day. If it isn't something you've used within the past month, don't waste your space with it!

5. Unused Dens

There isn't really much to say about this one. If you don't use the den, don't keep the den!

6. Alternate Accounts

If you have any storage accounts that aren't serving their purpose (no pun intended ^), you can email AJHQ to delete them. It takes about 2 workdays and it's very easy!

7. Old Jammer Wall Messages

Unless, of course, the message is sentimental or important to note, you should definitely clear it!

8. Duplicate RIMs

I mean, come on, do you really need all of those? The truth is that they're not very valuable and I'm sure someone else who missed the RIM would love to receive one.

9. Pillows, Cushions, and Welcome Mats

This sort of fits in to the "Cheap Trade Items" category (see #1). Lots of us have loads of these without even realizing! If you use them, keep them. If not, search "pillow" in your den inventory and abolish them all!

10. You Do You, Boo

This list isn't limited to Animal Jam! Yeah, these items are only on AJ, but if you think about it I'm sure you'll find your own list of things to toss for any game!

Good luck &
Happy Jamming!

p.s// This is the hardest I've ever worked on a single post (besides stories). I'd appreciate any feedback you may have. Would you rather have frequent posts of lower quality, or only some posts with high quality? Quality or quantity? (;

  1. I think you can find the middle of medium quality and medium quantity. ORR... we could post on alternate days (i.e I post Mondays, Wednesdays and you post Tuesdays,Thursdays. Just a suggestion :) )

  2. I'm afraid I have no use for this, haha, back-up accounts serve as storages for items. Heehee.
When you've been playing AJ for a long time, 100 accessories and 200 den item slots just bother me so much. Ugh.

I'm currently using my Sunken Ship though. I just never display it, so why not?

  3. Ugh, this is one of my biggest problems on AJ. I'm just somehow convinced that every minor RIM will turn out to be extremely rare one day or something *rolls eyes*
