2016 Favorites | What Did I Love?

Happy Holidays! 🎅
---

As the year comes to an end, I am reflecting on some things that have made me happy. Keep reading to join me on my little "reflection" and let me know if any of these things interest you as well!

Positivity and Self-Love

These past few years have been harder on me than other times simply because of how much I've pressured myself to change. It has caused me an insane amount of stress, which has even gone as far as negatively altering my health. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
I decided that- along with my blogger family- I'd try to be a good influence and encourage you all to love yourselves. Most of you (like 99% of my readers) are at the age where your self-esteem can plummet. It'll be okay, though. We'll get through it. I'm struggling as much as anyone else out there.

Skin Care

Along with loving myself comes caring for myself. I love face masks, soaps, anything from Lush, etc. And come on, they're so cute!

Music. Music. Music.

okay i lied this screenshot is mine

I've discovered so many new artists in 2016 that I never would have thought to listen to before! My taste in music has definitely changed- and for the better, I'd say!

Writing & Blogging

Blogging has been one of my loves since 2014. It never changes throughout the years. 💕💻

Meeting New People

I typically go out of my way to avoid people, but 2016 has taught me how interesting they can be! I met someone while I was wandering through Disneyland alone, and we talked for quite a while and they went on rides with me! I loved hearing their stories, too, and how far they came just to be at that park. It's weird to think that if they weren't there at that exact time, we never would have met. Hm!

Holiday Season / Christmas

Again, this never changes. Happy holidays everyone. 🎄

Yeah, yeah, I've got loads more examples of things I love, but I'm running short on time. See ya next post, frens! (;
Comment Call: What are some things you loved this year?

  1. The most significant thing for me this year was actually coming into the blogger community. Before, I'd just read blogs and never commented. It's really a lovely community to be in and to know that I actually matter unlike in the real world where I'm a book/artist nerd who rarely talks to anyone.

You're about to comment on a blog post! Yay! But first, make sure your comment follows these simple guidelines:
1) No cuss words, even with ***s
2) No rude/disrespectful messages to ANYONE, not even anonymous users.
3) No copying/stealing someone's words (unless you quote them for it)
4) No inappropriate messages
5) No trying to get around these rules!
